Illustrator: Julie West

I've always been intrigued by the unique beauty of Julie West's work. Whether she's creating computer rendered designs or painting, her attention to detail and craft is amazing. She's just designed the poster for Phillie's Art Star Craft Bazaar so it seemed like a good time to mention her work.

What little information I could glean about Julie suggests that she graduated with a BFA in illustration in 1998. Since graduating she's done illustrations for a wide range of publications and frequently shows her paintings in galleries across the US.


Sublime Stitching has even turned some of her drawings into embroidery patterns.
