New York Moon

The New York Moon is a gorgeous online newspaper published on each full moon. Its one of the most aesthetically pleasing online publications I've ever seen and if you could hear how vehemently I complain about the Kansas City Star web site, you'd understand the sheer bliss I get when looking at this site. I actually want to get a cup of coffee and read it, cover to metaphorical cover.

[Thanks to Design Notes for the info!]

Wicked! Yep. The KC Star, like many other online national publications, is seriously anchored to it's hard copy design. Websites that look like MS default templates are just that; templates perhaps not laid out by designers. Good to see more savvy news sites. Other examples?
