Eye Candy: The Heads of State Travel Posters




This past Thursday, I caught a wonderfully entertaining and smart talk by the talented duo that makes up The Heads of State. They showed tons of their work and I feel in love with their Travel Posters series that they did for Real Simple. Lucky for me, I can pick up any of the eight posters for a small price on their website. Now, I just have to decide which ones.

Making It on Broadway


Ever wonder what goes into the creative process behind a Broadway poster? Don't wonder anymore. The New York Times wrote a great piece showing various directions that Spot Co. created for the upcoming production La Cage aux Folles. The firm and the client go through what worked and didn't work for a handful of directions and what they finally went with.
