The exhibit will include almost 150 images of from his time at Vogue and Vanity Fair including celebrity portraits, fashion and prints never before seen. Steichen influenced many of the great modern photographers like Richard Avedon, Irving Penn, and Bruce Weber. The show opened last weekend and will be on display through July 25, 2010. Over the course of the exhibit, there will be several lectures around the work. See the Nelson-Atkins site for more details.
