Thanks to new regulations from the FDA, tobacco manufacturers may have to start including one of the 36 proposed labels that graphically show the effects of smoking. Honkin' big labels are designed to startle smokers to the real dangers involved with smoking. The labels are now required by lawunder a new ruling passed last year that gave the Food and Drug Administration the power to finally regulate tobacco products.

Nice!
ReplyDeleteIt is true that not smoking minimises the risk of getting a whole range of illnesses but I don’t subscribe to the theory that dramatic graphic labels or bold statements like these are the best way to tackle the problem. Furthermore, smoking is much more dangerous to non-smokers who are exposed to the harmful effects of smoking almost everywhere.
ReplyDeleteExcellent read, I simply passed this onto a colleague who was doing a little analysis on that. And he truly purchased me lunch as a result of I found it for him smile So let me rephrase that: Thanks for lunch! Anyway, in my language, there should not a lot good source like this.
