Jonathan Adler, home decor designer and host of Top Design, has released a menagerie of ceramic animals that are clearly a revision of the look associated with 1970s household tchotchkes taken to a cleaner, fresher place. How could I not love the ceramic squirrel with acorn ring box?

KleinReid is a pottery duo made up of James Klein and David Reid who have been collaborating together for the past 14 years creating a wide range of beautiful wares from pottery to art prints. Besides working with each other, they also collaborated with legendary designer Eva Zeisel on amazing pottery and silk-screen projects. I love their modern pottery, but their whimsical campfire porcelains just stole my heart.

One of my favorite Kansas City artists, Dick Daniels, has finally launched his web site. (For the record, I had to find out about his site from Drawn and he works in my department!) He loves to create his pieces on found wood making each truly unique. His ceramic wall hangings are also wonderfully kooky and fun. Drop him a line if you're interested in buying some of his work.
