Illustrator Jillian Tamaki

Last week I posted an entry about Sam Weber. This week I want to talk about another talented illustrator, his wife, Jillian Tamaki. I love Jillian's beautiful line work, her idea driven content and her amazing use of color. Many times I have found inspiration in the great color palettes in her illustrations. If you want to own some of her work for yourself, pick up her book Gilded Lily in the store on her site. (I own it and love it.) Also look for her new graphic novel, a collaboration with her cousin, coming out in 2008.
