Very Lucky Disasters Indeed

Beloved screen printing guru-of-the-South, Scott Peek of Standard Deluxe has teamed up with David Carson (yes, that David Carson) to publish a book called Lucky Disasters through Ginko Press. The book focuses on Overprints (I know them as "make ready") -- a printer's test pages that are run through a press over and over again to test ink colors and quality before printing the final pieces. These make readys create unintentional collages that can be odd, intriguing and often one-of-a-kind. Lucky Disasters chronicles make readys from printers across the US.

The book is listed for release in October.
