What am I doing wrong?

A 17-year-old girl who has made millions designing myspace template pages is making me question myself and design in general. I am not the only one. A lot of my design compatriots also asked the same thing after seeing the CNN video. Some of them were horrified at it. Watch the video and see what you think. I am happy for the girl and it is awesome that her peers love the work, but it just makes me and pica wonder -- does our culture value design or do they just want some pretty shit slapped together by anyone with Photoshop and a website?

k,

what are you questioning? she's got copping a style, without any basic desgin skills/rules. It's what I told you about "the formula". That's what's she's doing, using a hipster version of it. Real Design is more than a cool style, it's solution to make life better.

Plus, she'll squander her cash in a year on H2s and McManison.
