Photographer: Eugenio Recuenco

Spanish photographer, Eugenio Recuenco, is a self-proclaimed pain in the ass creating visual poetry and moments of sublime storytelling. This series is a reinterpretation of well-known fairytales. Clearly digitally manipulated, he creates worlds with each picture. Check out his circus series, his post-mortem images and the superheroines. He's created several series that evoke the aesthetic of 1940s film noir. He's turned fashion photos into psuedo-Daguerrotypes as well. Talk about pushing the envelope! Stunning.
