Local Design Celebrity: Rachel Karaca

Our pal, Rachel Karaca, Shoebox Interim Art Director and fabulous bag maker, won a Merit Award in the HOW Design Annual for her self-promotion . Congrats, Rachel! Kansas City doesn't get a lot of street cred for innovative and award-winning design so this a big deal for the "flyover states." I noticed Bernstein-Rein is also featured so KC has had a particularly good year.
