Present & Correct out of London creates, finds and curates the cutest shop ever. Everything about the site from the design to the products to the photos is so damn sweet that it makes me want to buy one of everything. There is something wonderful and lovely how P&C deftly mixes original in-house designs with vintage finds and products from around the word. Neat!!
Plum Press is currently offering a set of alphabet cards created by H&FJ typographer Sara Soskolne. With gorgeous use of decorative letters and color, these are charming!
Our friends Supermarket find the best and more unique designed things. Here are a few of Pica + Pixels' favorite finds.
Who wouldn't want to get a card of cute little things doing evil little things? Jesse Willmon, a designer/illustrator out of Queens (and fiance of pixel), created a smart-ass line of adorable animals doing questionable things. Gotta love a card with a puking cat or a stone pooping cinder blocks.
Besides cards, we were smitten with posters by Right Brain Terrain LLC who has some fun motivational design posters to keep anyone happy and working. 
Finally, we were pleased to see Victore NYC offering some of his radical design wares. Snap up a handful of his design posters or spruce up your dinner parties one of the plates from his Dirty Plates collection.
Here is just a bit more from the stationery show. There was a ton to see of the show and I only made it through half of it. I tried to just concentrate on the smaller more indie booths at the show.
First up is Fugu Fugu Press out of Pasadena, California. Fugu Fugu had a super cute booth filled with adorable cards that just made me want to smile and hug myself. 
Old School Stationers is a husband and wife team out of Portland, Oregon who have a wide variety of brightly colored and handsome cards featuring nature, animals and flora/fauna. I especially loved their forest and camping cards.
Sweetbeets cards focus on the quiet and striking memories that childhood creates and produces cards that evoke those feelings in babies, children and adults. Some of my favorites were the counting cards. 
Finally, we have cards from Pearl & Marmalade. Simple, lovely and charming. My favorite is the Amidst Route Letterpress Print which is for sale on etsy.

I was delighted to see that Charley Harper Studios put out a bunch of cards of his posters. It is a nice way to get your hands on some of his work with out having to drop a bundle of cash on a print. 
L|2 Design Collective had an impressive array of beautiful and varied silkscreened cards produced by a collective of designers and artist out of Florida. They had a nice mix of graffiti, vintage, arty and other visual flavors.
Rosebud had love vintage inspired cards, postcards, gift tags and even mini fortune packs. Everything had a the flare and texture of something from decades ago. Nice to see.
A couple vendors also were showing off wares that weren't your typical greeting cards. Stencil 1 makes stencils that you can use to create murals, t-shirts and even greeting cards. 
And Publique Living out of San Francisco had these great place mats with a die-cut pop up that will amuse any guest and faux-wood covered laminated gift boxes.
Over the weekend, I hit the National Stationery Show here in New York. I saw a handful of really great work and wanted to share with you some of the places that were there. I am going to break these posts over a couple of days to make it easier to digest.
First up is a Pica + Pixel favorite – Snow & Graham. Ms. Ana introduced me to them years ago and I've been smittened every since. Their booth showed off tons of great work, but what caught my eye were there desk calendars and wall calenders. Lovely!
Another great stationery company is Peculiar Pair Press. They create these amazing elaborate and elegant design that just leave me breathless. It was great to see all their work in one place. 
Next up is Hammerpress out of Kansas City. They also do letterpress but with a funkier, more fun twist. 
After Hammerpress, I discovered a cute new card company called Night Owl Paper Goods out of Alabama. They do both letterpress cards and eco-friendly cards printed on thin birch wood. I loved their whimsical animal drawings and their striking patterns. 
Hello Lucky had a great huge booth showing off all their cute and wonderful wears. 
Finally, I checked out the Poketo booth. I have been eyeing their wallets for a while and was happy to see that they had branched out into tons more products like plates, cool sketchbooks and other fun things. 
I always forget to send cards and remember birthdays. It makes me feel horrible, but I found the perfect answer. Jackcards lets you pick out great cards from small indie cardmakers and then sends them to you one or two weeks before a loved one's birthday, anniversary or special day. They can arrived stamped and pre-addressed so all you do is write a greeting and send them on their way.

French artists Valérie and Frédéric of So Sage create beautiful handmade pieces for purchase via Etsy. What really inspires me is the use of texture and color. Their work reminds me a lot of the mid-century textile desgners by Ray Eames , Lucienne Day and others.
